| 2004 | Leanne Medeiros | [Jan 2009:] "Guess what I'm currently directing in Chicago? The Sound of Music. I saw the pictures from your production... I am happy to say that your alumni in theatre section needs a little updating :). I graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul with my BFA in Theatre Arts in June and have been workign as a professional teaching artist. I teach and direct musical theatre for the Lake Forest Children's Theatre Company, I teach a summer divised theatre program at Northern Stage in VT, teach private acting lessons for kids downtown, and teach a playwrighting and acting program at Clemente High School for at-risk teens for Victory Gardens (Clemente is known for it's gang violence; I work with students whose grades are too low for them to be in the regular high school classroom but are too old to be kept back). I am currently working on my master's in education and will be moving to DC in June after getting married on the 13th." | |
